Scott is an experienced landscape architect, skilled at uniting the social purpose, cultural nature and ecological functions of landscape and public realm. He creates rich sensory environments, and is expert in design which is rich in biophilic experience. Scott has a specialism in waterfront design.
Three of Scott’s projects:
Stratford Waterfront, East Bank. Scott led the winning bid for the public realm and roofscapes design of the new Cultural and Educational District at Stratford. Situated on the edge of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the project creates new outposts for Sadler’s Wells, University of the Arts London’s London College of Fashion, V&A and BBC.
Tower Festival Headland. Scott was instrumental in the winning entry for an international competition to re-imagine Blackpool’s Golden Mile. Scott led the subsequent Tower Festival Headland project, which reconnected the town centre with the seafront.
Porth Teigr, Cardiff Bay. Scott led the design and delivery of new streets and spaces for Porth Teigr regeneration project in Cardiff Bay.
